DVA goes to China’s Happy Valley
DVA beat off strong competition from other well known and leading loudspeaker brands, winning the “Happy Valley” theme park project in Beijing, China. The system serves the elaborate outdoor “Odyssey Theatre” in the section known as the “Aegean Harbor” with colourful Greek buildings as a backdrop to enclose the semi circular theatre, making it look like part of a natural landscape.The theater serves in excess of 2,000 people and has some fixed stone seating in strategic places, giving it the impression of an age old site. The newly installed DVA system held its first concert in the “Odyssey Theatre” on 1st May 2009, Chinese labour day.
The Park was crowded with visitors and the day’s music proceedings went extremely well with the new DVA sound system, making the audio experience an impressive and memorable occasion for all those that attended.

Macao (China) gets DVA treatment

DVA flies high in Korean Churches
The first DVA church installation in South Korea. The “Shin An Church” is a typical medium sized Church measuring 35m x 25m with two floor, located in the Kwang Ju Province. President of Kusan Ki-Man Kim explained, “Many Churches suffer from troublesome acoustics giving problems of speech, so we suggested along with our local dealer, removing the old system and putting in the DVA Line Array”.- Country: South Korea

DVA does Thai FM awards
“Leo Sound System Company” (Thailand) used DVA on the 5th “FM 95Mhz Mahanakorn Presentation Awards”, a ceremony of Thailand Country song radio station, at the “Thailand Cultural Centre Theatre”, Bangkok. New 15" subwoofer DVA S09

DVA Line Array Module - 5000 units sold
Since the first release of this very innovative active Line Array module in October 2006 , dBTechnologies has now produced the 5000th DVA T4 unit at the facilities in Bologna/Italy. Considering the short period of just about 19 months, this is a tremendous success and the best selling product for dBTechnologies right after the hotseller Opera-Series . The president of the RCF Group, Arturo Vicari comments: “ We have decided for the right product in a very cluttered market for Line Arrays – compact, lightweight, flexible and affordable, just about everything what is needed in the rental & installation business”.A large chunk of the DVA Line Array Systems have been sold through the dBTechnologies distribution partner “ASTEC” in Spain. DVA-Setup software EASE Focus V1.55
EASE Focus allows to configure DVA line array system for any application. Flown with up to 16 DVA T4 modules, in combination with S10 flown subwoofer or groundstacked on S10 or S20 subwoofer, EASE Focus shows the number of needed DVA T4 modules and the curving of the array. Already in the phase of planning the event the software shows the SPL coverage on the listening areas.

DVA bass timealignment calculator. Sometimes it is not possible to put the subwoofers upright below the flown array. To get the right impulse response, it is necessary to delay the subs (i.e with SDD-module). If no messurement equippment or rangefinder is available, the "DVA Bass Timealignment Calculator" helps to find the correct delay very easily.
